From the very first appointment up to my surgery day my experience with Dr. Unruh was positive. Dr. Unruh the General Surgeon provided me with all the information about the procedure I needed. I wanted to do the surgery right away. The doctor gave me time to process and think about the surgery. He advised me to share this information with my husband. have had several interventions throughout my short life. However the way Dr. Unruh talked to me made me feel that I could trust this doctor. The day of surgery arrived and the admission nurse was very attentive and kind with me. I am very happy with Dr. Unruh services.I would recommend this surgeon to other community members.

Desde la primera cita hasta el día de la cirugía, mi experiencia con el Dr. Unruh fue positiva. El Doctor Unruh, el cirujano general me proporcionó toda la información sobre el procedimiento que necesitaba. Quería hacer la cirugía de inmediato. El médico me dio tiempo para procesar y pensar en la cirugía. Me aconsejó que compartiera esta información con mi esposo. He tenido varias intervenciones a lo largo de mi corta vida. Sin embargo, la forma en que el Dr. Unruh me habló, me hizo sentir que podía confiar en este médico. Llegó el día de la cirugía y la enfermera de admisión fue muy atenta y amable conmigo. Dr. Unruh General Surgeon at Mee Memorial Healthcare treated me and my son. I am a South County resident. The Doctor is a very good surgeon. He was very kind and patient. He took the time to explain the procedure well and allowed the interpreter to tell us everything in Spanish. After the operation he gave me a follow up appointment to see how I was doing. I was worried about a possible infection. He prescribed antibiotics and made sure everything was going well, this calmed me down and made me feel safe. I would recommend Dr. Unruh with other families.

El Dr. Unruh Cirujano General de Mee Memorial Healthcare me atendio a mi y a mi hijo. Soy residente del condado Sur. El Doctor es muy buen cirujano. Fue muy amable y paciente. Se tomo el tiempo para explicar bien el procedimiento y permitio que el interprete nos dijera en Español todo. Despues de la operacion me dio otra cita para ver como me encontraba. Estaba preocupada por una possible infeccion. Me receto antibioticos y me aseguro que todo iva bien, esto me tranquilizo y me hizo sentir segura. Recomendaría al Dr. Unruh con otras familias. 

I cannot say enough beautiful awesome things about the doctors at Mee Memorial Healthcare System in King City, Dr Slaughter and Dr Flores, ……..and all the nurses! They are absolutely the best! They worked to help my big boy in his great time of need. His lung collapsed for no reason and continued to collapse over and over. Doctors and staff worked together as a team, he had his surgery and is on his way to a strong recovery. Thank you doctors for using your gifts to save my son and fix his lung.

No puedo decir suficientes cosas hermosas e increíbles sobre los médicos de Mee Memorial Healthcare System en King City, el Dr. Slaughter y el Dr. Flores, ........ ¡y todas las enfermeras! ¡Son absolutamente los mejores! Trabajaron para ayudar a mi hijo mayor en su gran momento de necesidad. Su pulmón se derrumbó sin razón y continuó colapsando una y otra vez. Los médicos y el personal trabajaron juntos como un equipo, se sometió a su cirugía y está en camino a una fuerte recuperación. Gracias, doctores, por usar sus regalos para salvar a mi hijo y arreglar su pulmón.

Dr. Unruh went to great lengths to explain to me in Spanish the medical procedure my son needed. He always addressed me as the patient's father and then he listened to the doubts and questions that my son asked him in English. He gave us some brochures that explained the intervention and recovery time, this also helped us better understand how to care for my son. I live in Soledad and have been to the other 3 hospitals in Salinas but I prefer to drive to King City so that my children receive better care. I feel more comfortable with Dr. Unruh and the nurses have also been very helpful with communication.

El Dr. Unruh se esforzo mucho por explicarme en Espanol el procedimiento medico que mi hijo necesitaba. Siempre se dirigio a mi como el padre del paciente y luego escucho las dudas y preguntas que mi hijo le hizo en Ingles. Nos dio unos folletos que explicaban la intervencion y tiempo de recuperacion esto tambien nos ayudo a entender mejor como cuidar de mi hijo. Yo vivo en Soledad y he ido a los otros 3 hospitales de Salinas pero prefiero manejar hasta King City para que mis hijos reciban un mejor servicio. Me siento mas comodo con el Dr. Unruh y las enfermeras tambien han sido de gran ayuda con la comunicación.
