About Luana
Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Hossian is an Active Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
While in medical school she tutored other students, worked as an outdoor adventure instructor and co-founded, The Community Garden Club. She was a coordinator in the Tsunami Self Defense Course for Women in Healthcare and judged the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Annual Science Fair.
Dr. Houssein volunteered for disaster relief with the Medical College at Pittson and Staten Island flood-affected areas and was voted 'Doc of the Month' by Sky Lakes Medical Center Emergency Department (ED) Klamath Falls, OR. for exceptional patient care and willingness to help care for ED patients.

Dr. Houssian received her Medical Degree from Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College, Scranton, PA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Anthropology with honors from the University of Virginia. She completed her Residency at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ.
