Mee Memorial Healthcare System Announces CEO
King City, California, August 3, 2020
Effective August 1, 2020, the Mee Memorial Board of Trustees has officially named Rena Salamacha CEO of Mee Memorial Healthcare System (MMHS) of King City, California.
Rena joined Mee Memorial 11 years ago as the Director of Information Technology. Over the years, Rena has provided leadership that drives operational efficiency through process improvement, standardization and reduction of clinical variations ensuring the delivery of high quality and cost-effective care. During Rena’s tenure at Mee Memorial she has also held additional executive roles as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Strategy and Technology Officer as well as Chief Operations Officer.
Prior to joining Mee Memorial, Rena spent 9 years in hospital finance and healthcare information technology roles. Her previous experience in hospital finance and revenue cycle has been an asset to her leadership.
Rena has a master’s degree in Management and Systems with a concentration in Leadership and Strategy from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from University of Phoenix. Rena is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration. She has been serving as interim CEO since November 15, 2019.
