KING CITY — Mee Memorial Healthcare System invites the community to partake in Diabetes Education Day on Saturday, May 20, inside the Exposition Hall at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City during the annual Salinas Valley Fair, which opens at 11 a.m. Stop by the Expo Hall to learn more about how to prevent diabetes or live the best life with diabetes by “balancing” what you eat, drink and do. Staff will be there to take important baseline biometrics, and youth and adults alike can enjoy balancing on bouncy balancing balls and sensory mats. There will also be a price wheel and healthy treats to snack on.
