Rehabilitation Services is a group of dedicated health care professionals serving the needs of the communities surrounding Mee Memorial Hospital in South Monterey County. Our clinical providers, rehabilitation technicians, and front office staff speak both English and Spanish in order to hear our patients concerns and meet their needs. We offer full dynamic rehabilitation services to patients of all ages.
Rehabilitation services encompasses Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Services are offered in the Acute Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility, and in the Out-Patient Clinic. Treatment is provided by the same group of therapists throughout these 3 settings, assuring continuity of care, which allow for the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Many of our staff live in the communities of King City, Greenfield, Soledad, and Salinas, and are very familiar with the challenges that our patients may face when going through the Rehabilitation process. Our therapists are highly credentialed and diversely experienced, including some with doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy. They have an average of over 30 years of experience in their respective fields, providing excellent and compassionate care to their patients.
Following a thorough and comprehensive evaluation, a physical therapist will develop a patient specific plan of care to enhance movement. From moving in bed, transferring from one surface to another (bed to wheelchair), walking, or jogging/running, we improve the way you move.
